Hmph, you don't even understand what the heck the people are saying in Japanese anyway, your just reading the subs and hearing their monotone voices. I just think the Japanese are softer and less creative with their voice acting, but to tell you the truth, the Japs do sound better anyway.

Sorry to break it to you, but some people do understand Japanese.

Please don't start another never ending "debate" between dubs and subs. :?

Was there any one (besides the collection) who liked the dub? :?

Perhaps I'm just easily amused

Except for what I already said about Al's voice being too soft for the next episode preview, I liked it well enough. I blamed any and all cheesiness on the script.

By the way, this is coming from someone who had never seen any Full Metal [anything] before in his life, subbed or otherwise.

I missed it. I'll have to catch it on Thursday was it?

I will say that I wasn't terribly interested in FMA, but GitS: SAC is a different story.

Though, I don't care if I miss GitS: SAC on tv becuae I'm buying the dvds (already have vols. 1 and 2 SE), so I get aweosme picture quality and 5.1 DTS.

My only complaint though, which is not against the show itself, is Bandai and Manga Ent need to do a better quality check. Both Vol 1 and 2 have some defect in them. While these defects don't affect content, they are annoying none the less.. (vol 1 had a rear speaker sound issue on the DTS disc and the soundtrack cd had incorrect track stops. Vol2 simply had the disc labels reversed)

Well, all I have to say that Adult Swim played the ENTIRE second opening of Fullmetal Alchemist last night, and it's textless. :D

I watched them last night. Stayed up till 2 in the morning for it too. Although I Haven't seen either show from the beginnig I'll most likeky continue to watch them. Both look decent.

The dubs weren't bad if I do say so myself. :P

I just caught both Full Metal and Ghost in the Shell last night.

I dislike the dubbed version of FA. Edward sounds like a rough street punk and Al sound slike a depressed kid. I always got the feeling Al was unusually cheerful in the Japanese version. I love that voice work of his.

I've already seen the first 8 episodes of Ghost in the Sheel so I already saw last nights episode. Good series though.
