Who are we to say that they are lesbian or gay couples. If they are 14 n' if they are related, then u kinda think we're going a step too far. Who are we to say, and act like we're the fuckin animator of the seriese and claim that we know more about the characters than even the DIRECTOR of the anime. If it's anime from CLAMP, It's bound to have a Lez or a Gay in it thats for sure. If't sailor moon or Revolutionary girl Utena, U GOT UR LESBIANS FAN BOYS! No way in hell u can feel love going on between brothers cause u know why...UR NOT THE FREAKIN Director! I'm done with my point from here.
OHM!! Let's pair up random boys!

Ohh you have no idea^^Evangelion Unit 01 wrote:srocketa wrote:Well the fangirl can sense unresolved sexual tension between male characters even if it's not intended to be there...it is how our minds work..o_0 There is plenty of 'proof' but only fangirls are able to see it.
Well, then I am thinking you might have a weird mind.
It's nothing to do with 'proving' anything, I just meant about about how effortless it is for a fangirl to imagine o_0 perhaps I should have used the word 'hints' instead of 'proof' argh *always phrases everything wrong*Evangelion Unit 01 wrote: I think the reason though you might think this is because women in general are a little more sexually open then men. This does not mean just because two people are friends makes them lovers. There is a line. You have the right to think what you want and of course publish that, I do not deny this fact, but to prove that two brothers are in love with one an other.
There is a difference between believing and pretending. And it's just for FUN.
I also don't believe I said anything about personally liking the brother/brother thing o_0 (Ed/Al, no way) I was talking about how it is extremely easy for a fangirl to pair anyone she wishes. But every fangirl has their personal preferences, very picky, they don't just pair up EVERY guy you know

Please don't tell me what is 'okay' and what's not?^^ And as I said before it's not about actually believing and proving, it's about just using your imagination, *this is hard to explain* it's fun for the fangirl to entertain these thoughts, for fun, but actually believing it is not required. Ok although there are some who really do *insist* there *are* things going on when there are clearly not, but I think most of us don't take it that seriously o_0 or maybe I'm not enough of a fangirl, I don't know lolEvangelion Unit 01 wrote:[ I also would like to add that I feel as though you are more so creating and deciving sexual tensions between these male characters. Its okay to create it but don't decive youself.
I do know some people who will insist with a passion that a certain pairing is real (and it's not necessarily always a gay one), and it is pretty scary, and even though I don't agree, they seem to love it so much I'll just shut up and let them have their fun^^ and also not get my eyes torn out
I don't think that really has to do with pairing random boys?Evangelion Unit 01 wrote: An other statistic I would like to through in to help prove this, sort of anyway, is that I think I remember hearing some where there are more lesbians then gays. So, it might be that it is more realitic for two females be friends and also be lovers then it is for men.

The thing i'm guessing the reason this topic started is of course girls or guys are going to think this up but U can't control someones mind. This topic is i think asking why go so far as to make topics about it or vids to try to show or say there gay when there not.

I was just citing the conversation above that had no personal intent in it.srocketa wrote:I also don't believe I said anything about personally liking the brother/brother thing o_0 (Ed/Al, no way).
I think that was what I was trying to get at. If you said it sorry I did not see that, but yes that is what I would agree with, pretend don't prove.srocketa wrote:And as I said before it's not about actually believing and proving, it's about just using your imagination,

That one was for the opposite fact. Pairing two girls might seem more realistic just according to what I was told with those statistics above.srocketa wrote:I don't think that really has to do with pairing random boys?

Why does a director have to appeal to your faulty gaydar? All that stuff like doujinshi, fanfic, etc does is examine the relationship between two characters. There's rarely doujinshi that doesn't have some sort of plausible canon to back it up.Nandez wrote:Were not the creator of the series unless the animator makes it a point in the series to show or say he's completely gay or she's completely gay then its not true.Theres not gonna throw in secret signs. Some anime characters act diffrent or strange it doesn't mean there gay.I have a gay friend and he acts perfectly like a normal guy not like people u see on tv.
Furthermore, Japan's history is rooted in teh hawt mansex - go find a movie called Gohatto (it's called Taboo in the states). All the samurai slept with each other. This is nothing new, especially in Japan.
I mean, yaoi isn't my thing and I get annoyed at screaming con fangirls as the next guy, but reading posts by Nandez, Yokou Seishirou, and Evangelion Unit 01 I'm picking up a lot of repressed sexuality vibes, especially because all three of you feel the need to so fervently attack something that doesn't affect you at all. Calm the fuck down, don't watch yaoi videos if it's not your thing, don't read fanfic if it's not your thing, and go see a psychiatrist to work out whatever latent sexual hang-ups you have.

Wow wtf is your problem. If you havn't noticed ulnike them i'm not sitting her bashing yaio. All I said was it was stupid for people to go yell about there videos calling two characters gay because they hope its so and if you havn't noticed I was also mentioning yuri not just yaio fool.dokool wrote:Why does a director have to appeal to your faulty gaydar?
