yeah the second series sucked... but i like the fack that it was an all girl school... i mean.. and every one was lesbo in that one ... but whats really funny... is that you

((ok there are several defferent me's ... and my meds wore off.. so i sound not like the happy playful kitty right now .. sorry))
I’m sorry for this rant but I hate the fact that now anime is popular (popular being DBZ) and now its ok to like some animes.
now i only have a few coments.. and its all on the underlined part and bold areas... ok then.. now for the highlighted..
anime has always been moderatly popular and been on TV.. its just mordern generations are more receptive to the genre and more open to the posible alterations from normal anime to the slightly obscure..... second of all is the bold... DBZ isn't COOL.... its just the gate way drug for a new generation.. some people.. (even among us i'm afraid)

anime has such a big broad base. there are many types of anime. i have a friend who doesn't like it. i don't necessarily care, that's her opinion. i have my own. not all anime is for kids. and some of the anime that can be found on tv sucks, excluding trigun, samarai champloo, and full metal alchemist. it is sort of mainstream because of shows like dbz, but there are good animes that people don't hear about. okay i am done now.

What the hell are you talking about. Animes are cartoons and cartoons are all for kids. Everyone but little kids who watch dragon ball z and think they're smart and knows that. Grow up and start watching shows with real people instead of coloured paper.

People who say "I didn't have any friends because i said i liked anime" are just people looking for an excuse thats like saying "I went on a killing spree because i played GTA3". Bullshit you didn't have friends because you didn't want to be friends with others who didn't like what you like. If you want to talk to someone who has all the same interests as you go talk to a mirrow, otherwise go make some friends and don't force anime on to them not everyone likes.

And for thoughs idiots that think your weird for liking it or say it's shit but have either never watched it or only watched one episode of DBZ F*** them your probably better without them.

But liking anime is no excuse for not having friends, so stop blaming it.
Can't the end of the road be also thought as the beginning for the journey back.

I agree with both Zaphod & Wrench

Anime is like a fad. People like it or hate it, depending on what's popular at the time. If they think that it is cool, they will approve of it. If they think that no one else ikes it, they will go along. That is the true nature of the human race. Only people who truly love anime will stay with it through thick and thin- Otakus are like good friends. Everyone else is afraid of what others think, and wil not depart from the norm. Only if you are truly devoted to anime, then you will be able to back it up. there's no good reason not to like..it's funny, smart, and usually very deep. We all have heard this, and we understand it. Ranting about it will not help, but standing up for your beliefs will at least show those that would mock you that you are firm in your opinion, and when they realize that they cannot bother you, they will probably leave you alone.
It worked for me.
