Actual good dubs in animes...

I've enough for One Piece, one of the worst dubbings that i have ever seen!

shame too, Arlong was a personal favorite of mine with the japanese voice. And now that is no more.

Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing, ROD TV, Last Exile, Haibane Renmei, Texhnolyze (the last 5 are all Geneon, by coincidence, as was Koi Kaze--I haven't watched enough of the dub to tell), Fruits Basket, Full Metal Panic. It seems like dubbing is usually better on action/"guy" shows than on comedy/romance/"girly" shows.

Plantinum isn't too much different from the original dub. A few sentences and words have been changed in the dialogue and the sound quality is better but other than that, the voices are the same (except for the director's cut versions of the last episodes).

I dont know whats with all you guys, but most animes happen to have EXCELLENT dubs, i like all of them for a FEW exceptions, and ive seen a LOT of anime. I really dont know why this topic is being brought up over over and over again,

I can't beleive no one has mentoined Trigun. it is one of the very few anime where I actually prefer the dub over the sub. the biggest reason is because of the VA for Vash. the vioce and character personality fit so well together it's hard to see them any other way. I also agree that Wolf's Rain and Cowboy Bebop are good dubs, and the latest from CB's creators, Samuri Champloo, ain't half bad either. I do think a large part of whether or not you prefer dub over sub is which one you see first. because that way of seeing the anime then becomes, at least in the back of your mind, the predominant way of listing to it.

yes, Adam the black power ranger's voice was pretty awesome for vash....
