Hit the nail on the head. I draw boys that people call 'hot' , but can't draw a girl for peanuts. I'm a girl as well, which is scary..
I consider Sakura and Sasuke-kun a couple(I'm weird that way), and I think they're..a......cute couple. SO different..

Straigh couples. I think they're starting to become rare.

Ran and Shinichi from Detective Conan, just because they made me laugh.

Tachibana and Sumire from I'll CKBC, just 'cuz they're funny too.

I can't seriously think of anything else. I'm "allergic" to romance.

Does Futurama count? Fry and Leela if it does, just because.... it's funny.
And it isn't even an official couple.

As for gay couples, if anyone wonders, which I doubt, there are none I like.

Straight couples are only rare when it comes to fandom, not anime. There are anime shows out there that are abundant in straight couples. People just prefer to pair their favorite characters that are the same gender together. Futurama does not count as an anime.

I add this because I was dumb enough to forget one good, straight couple:
Oscar and André from Lady Oscar (aka, Rose of Versailles).
Dramatic couple, but RoV characters are cool, so why not the couple that is Oscar and André?

In the stuff I watch, I think am just really, really blind when it comes to romance.
As for Futurama, I was only asking, because in some forums, when they ask about anime, sometimes we do bring in American cartoons.

It'd be easier to say who is not... and I can't think of any right now. Really, they wouldn't be entertaining if they didn't have some kind of appeal.
