I thought hardcore anime fans were some like megaman, and a few others, that are into, Immoral Sisters, Nightshift Nurses, Teachers Pet and others like it. I'm sorry

, I guess you mean the other kind of hardcore.

I looked up "hardcore anime fan" in my " book of everything" dictionary and it had a picture of Scytale (sometimes showing up on these forums) next to it. At somewhere near 2000 dvd's, he has to be the most rabid fan I know of. He is also my best source of anime to watch and info on anything anime.

some people are too poor to byy stuff..
you can be hardcore anime fan and not have some of the merchandise.
I know a hardcore anime fan *my boyfriend/future husband Com that is* and he doesn't have alotta merchandise

A hardcore fan is NOT like me. I think the investment of money and time is largely the determining factor; but where that threshold to 'hardcore' is can be rather difficult to define in a neat expenditure bracket.

Or if, like me, when you get bored while sitting on radio watch you make word finds with charater names or anime tittles

When you can describe, in great detail, a series that you haven't seen for 5 years. When you retain so much knowledge of that show and several other shows, including basic storyline, main characters, and other such crap that went along with it... THAT, my friend... is an Hardcore Anime FREAK...
