I thought hardcore anime fans were some like megaman, and a few others, that are into, Immoral Sisters, Nightshift Nurses, Teachers Pet and others like it. I'm sorry , I guess you mean the other kind of hardcore.
I looked up "hardcore anime fan" in my " book of everything" dictionary and it had a picture of Scytale (sometimes showing up on these forums) next to it. At somewhere near 2000 dvd's, he has to be the most rabid fan I know of. He is also my best source of anime to watch and info on anything anime.

Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

If it's not in Japan, it's NOWHERE, man.
Seriously, the love pillows, much as a lot of other things that are fucked up by definition, are clearly a Japanese invention.

A hardcore fan is NOT like me. I think the investment of money and time is largely the determining factor; but where that threshold to 'hardcore' is can be rather difficult to define in a neat expenditure bracket.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

When you can describe, in great detail, a series that you haven't seen for 5 years. When you retain so much knowledge of that show and several other shows, including basic storyline, main characters, and other such crap that went along with it... THAT, my friend... is an Hardcore Anime FREAK...

Oh jeez.R-A-N-M-A wrote:A hard core anime fan is sone one who watches anime and is so into it they don't realize that they have started eating their granite table top instead of thier chips. The granite then collects in their stomach and intestonal tract, which is right behind the abdominal muscles. A set of muscles often refered to as the core. This hard granite build up behind the core muscles has lead to the term hard core. And since it was cause by being so into anime, they are then called Hard Core Anime Fans. If you think you might be hard core you should contact your doctor about a MRI.
Probably too busy to be here right now.
