i have the word otaku in my email. back in fifth grade it seemed like a good idea to an anime fan. then i went to japan... and told my jap friends my email. they stared at me wide eyed. i sulkedand pretend i don't know what it means, and ask them what it means. they stare at each other, search for a good english word, and come up with "maniac". couldn't get over it. :roll:
