Lets not overly derail the topic here.

Sakura's problem was that she was smart enough to figure out the answers, and know that most people in the room would not be able to.
Given that, she wasn't smart enough to figure out that she was supposed to cheat, or that the point of the observation setup was to cheat from the planted people in the crowd.

Sasuke was able to figure out what he needed and use it, making him the better tactician. Plus, remember his whole character is designed around being able to use knowlege that others have gleaned.

Anybody who has ever studied martial arts knows that there is an insane amount of practice and repitition before moves become automatic and natural (say 15,000-20,000 for an average person.) , he bypasses that stage.
Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a night. Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

That and he uses advanced taijutsu without being anywhere near the required physical level to do so.

NOR does he apply YEARS of training so as his muscles'll get used to such strain on his body.

Which is another thing, but this is mostly Kishimoto's fault. One, he created WAY too many powerful ninjas for ONE village. And all of them are under 16. Their muscles are still growing, right?

( Since this thread is about Sasuke, I'm concentrating on him. I'm perfectly aware that some of Lee's moves are beyond his capacity. Of course, he's the mandatory tribute to Bruce Lee, so it doesn't really count. >.> )
Soooo, how the hell can Sasuke, a 13-year-old entering the Chuunin exams for the first time, going up against Gaara, who, by the way, has killed thousands of people with the Tanuki inside of him, not possibly have any muscular strain on his body from using a taijutsu that even Lee has to wear weights for? Kishimoto is giving too much power to this character, a guy who doesn't seem to train his body for heavy duty jutsus or learning how to adapt his body to the different jutsus that the Sharingan'll give him. While I wuvs you Madbunny, I must savagely disagree. Sasuke is a weak ass.

I doubt Sasuke is exactly "weak." Out of all the young shinobi, he's trained the most, even physically.

HOWEVER, Sasuke relies on stealth and speed, whereas shinobi like Naruto and Lee are much more "Power over Prowess." I agree, Sasuke using advanced Taijutsu like that is way too unbelievable; perhaps if it were closer to Snake or Crane Kung-Fu, it may be understandable. But Lee's and Gai's style of combat? No... just, no. Naruto replicating Sasuke's barage attack is a little more understandable, because although it's a devastating attack, it's still a fairly simple taijutsu, and Naruto is nearly as fit as Sasuke.

As far as I can tell, Kishimoto has gone way off the deep end, and has made Sasuke into a super-man. He's totally fallen in love with the character, which isn't so bad; what's bad is that he's gone so off the deep end in basically making him disgustingly powerful while basically forgetting who the main character is.
Let's take a look at another case like this: Gokuu vs. Vejiita. You could probably argue, and I believe he would have to agree, that Toriyama - along with fans of Dragonball - fell in love with the bad-ass that is the Prince of Saiya-jin. Vejiita is a far more popular character than Gokuu - at least in America, and even in Japan he has a huge following - but Toriyama never lost sight of the idea that Gokuu and Gohan are the main characters of the series, not Vejiita. Although he became ONE of the most important characters quickly, his story never supplanted that of the other two.

What Kishimoto has done is this: he realized he had an interesting character, and decided to make him even more of a main character; but instead of making him a co-protagonist, or rather the main ANtagonist to Naruto, he went full-force, man-boy obsessive over the character and lost sight of the development of just as complex a character - the hero, Naruto.

To put it simply, Kishimoto did the following: ZOMG! SASUKE IS TEH UBER-1337 NINJA ROXXOR! *FAP* *FAP* *FAP* I CAME!!!

Ah, beautifully put. XD I guess that wraps this discussion up?
