So you saw them all and you know they suck? You've probably not seen past 50 episodes of Naruto and sure as hell haven't seen that one episode. And even if you seen that one you say they ALL SUCK. There sure is a hell of a lot of them so you must of seen every filler episode to confirm that.

and now your admitting to that there is such things as a good filler episode. You sure did a one eighty there. Nice one.

Really now? As far as i've ever seen the term is used to describe things that are not in the manga. Certain series contain about 90% material that does not advance plot, but that's never refered to as filler...

Thanks for explaining that for the hundredth time.
That's because it's important to be reminded "it's not being made for you". You don't need to try when marketing to kids. Once you start the ball rolling, if it gather's enough of the demographic you can simply get by with the least amount of work that can be mannaged.

I think that some fillers are nice.

Bleach fillers: Pretty good, I'm waiting for the next episode

Prince of Tennis fillers: I loved them!!

Rurouni Kenshin fillers: Didn't know they were fillers until I finished watching.

Then some other shows have horrible, HORRIBLE fillers! Sadly, the only one I can think of at the moment is....

Naruto fillers: WTF!? Fighting Tigers and shit?! OMG, look at the crappy ass animations! 20 episodes of this bull? I think I'll take a seat.

They may not move the plot at full pace but they do move the plot. Have you seen G Gundam? The first 5 episodes, someone COULD call them filler, but think about it, that's when he meets the other main characters, they've got to meet sometime to move the plot forward. Some episodes move more than others.

And for my reasoning to what I call filler, think of the FMA anime.

For the first half (more or less) it followed the manga, then they decided to make a new story. Granted none of that was in the manga, but all the episodes were building up its new plot, so I wouldn't consider them filler. Filler to me are stupid side stories that slow down the real story, and since the FMA anime went ahead with its plot I wouldn't call those episodes filler. If any episode in FMA was a filler it was episode 10 with that female thief or something. Something that does not advance the plot at all is what I consider filler, it just so happens that most everything in a manga DOES advance the plot, so fillers tend to be anime only and don't move the plot forward, nor are they in the manga.

That's just how I see it.

Once you get up to Lab 5 in the manga you can see where it starts taking a different path. I prefer the manga myself to the anime.
