Inu Yasha Why it is good or why it is bad?

No, I meant when in the manga does it split off, not when in the anime. I have all of the anime to date so want to know where in the manga I should prioritise.

Inu Yasha is my second favorite anime series after Evangelion. I started watching it at the second episode, and I've only missed like one or two episodes since. The dub is good; the only annoying voice is that of Inu Yasha himself. The second season (I think, judging by the end credits) just started on Adult Swim.

The only thing that I really don't like is how Inu Yasha and Kagome can just keep pretending that they don't like each other, even though they both damn well know how they really feel. I mean, For God's sake, just kiss and get it the hell over with!

Other than that, it's really damn good.

Why would I be ofended, Im not a rabid fanboy, I just happen to be in a position where I can see this stuff early. I havent even released an AMV with IY in it yet! ^_^

Im sorry, I didnt answer the question. The answer is this: Why are there so many Evangelion fanboys? How about Trigun? How about Cowboy Bebop.
In my opinion CBBB and Trigun are on the same par with Inu Yasha, while Evangelion doesn't even compare. Its just a matter of the fact that Inu Yasha has the animation style of the average anime movie every week in a TV series. It does everything that has ever been done well in an anime, and does it well (this is all IMHO of course.) The point is that its a simple matter of opinion. I like it. I just so happen to like it enough to have a keychain on a my backpack and a poster on my wall from that particular series. Does that make me a "fandboy"?
