New Neon Genesis Movies

As much as I love eva the main reason I got into anime is because there were not a lot of sequals spin offs and what not. Now there is becoming more and more. I liked eva for what it was when I first saw it, and I thought the end of eva acually tied up some lose ends despite some of its confusion. I will say I am looking forward to the live action eva, but I worry about it being to short, or that they'll try to shove to much in it. The series was great and the remastered series was great. It really should have just ended there. But I will stick with my fandomness (if that's even a word) and see what they have to offer.

There is also a good one released by subbers now too, not sure what group. Looks interesting...the angels have some new style. As far as we know, the first few movies will be a retelling of the whole series, and there should be some new material in the 3rd/4th. It'll be fun to watch this, I think.

Well as a big nge fan I can't wait another second, I want the new movies, and I hope that they are good.

They're gonna suck...you know that, right? :/

I just get myself in that mindset...that it'll be the worst crap ever...so maybe I'll be suprised. Anyway, still looking forward to the live action movie as well, cause I know they'll ruin the hell out of it, but I'll go just to see what weta does with Sachiel attack and the positron rifle scene. Fun times.

Rubbersuit angles and lensflare positron ftw

It'll be fun to see how many of us could have made better effects than the movie crew o.o

Except it's gonna be weta digital from what I understand...so their rubber suits will be awsm

I'm excited, but I sure hope the use of 3D CG doesn't look like crap, as it does in almost any anime that uses it. From the trailer it looks ok, but I still don't like the looks of it. One thing I hate is the new NERV logo. I mean seriously, lets add an upside down apple with the fig leaf and make it look like a blob. WTF Gainax?

I wouldn't say "better" as much as "less hideous", but yeah... the right one is the lesser evil.
