I would've mentioned Thundercats and Gargoyles and the like, they ARE favorites. But I was trying to think of cartoons that weren't Japanese animated. Thundercats was done by Rankin-Bass, whose credits include the animated versions of The Hobbit, Return of the King, The Last Unicorn (which is now being remade as a live-action feature), Silverhawks, and Flight of Dragons, to name a few. These were made in English, but if you look at the credits, they were all animated in Japan and therefore count as anime (as if the style of R-B's animation isn't a dead giveaway).
The same goes with Gargoyles. The story and sound was done over here, but the animation was all done in Disney's Tokyo-based studio. Hence, it can be considered anime as well.
That doesn't make these two any less great shows. It's just that the thread specifically asked for non-anime.

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

I have no clue about music or anything, as not even half the cast has been picked yet, but there's the latest info I've found on the project. Looks good so far, I think.

I love that film and Flight of Dragons, they are still great. I didn't know that they were anime, in that case I probably shouldn't have included Ulysses 31 as that was a japanese-french thing and it is still the scaries kids cartoon ever even the music sends shivers up my spine.
