"Wolf's Rain" - Hubb Lubowski - Not a complicated guy, but his motivations were clear.
"Nadia - Secret of Blue Water" - Sanson - Ended up a hero and one of the more interesting characters on the show.
"Trigun" - Reverend Wolfwood - Love that man. See the show and I don't need to explain
"Macross Plus" - Isamu Dyson
"Neon Genesis Evangelion" - Kaji - Great guy in his own right, but that Misato loved him is the clincher.
