I don't recall a clown mask on Heavy arms in the series...But yea, the mask was a very cool addition in the movie.Duke MadThain wrote:I think that Sand rocks design was improved in the movie. All around though I think that they all looked alot better then they had in the series.Did your favorite MS design in the TV series, get altered for the significantly better or worse in Endless Waltz?
One thing I didn't like though was that they changed Nataku's arms. In the series they looked like dragon heads when they extended outward didn't they? I really didn't get that feeling from the movie...They really didn't look like anything special, just dangerous.
I don’t remember all that well but I think they had heavy arms fitted with a clown mask just like trowa's, that is just straight kool in my opinion.

It is only in the movie I am pretty sure, here is another ok picture with the mask. I think that you only really see it towards the end of the movie too....although Heavy arms isn't there till the end of the movie to begin with.

Am I the only person who, upon seeing them in action, asked 'Jebus, just how long can those things stretch anyways?'Sentient Satire wrote:Yeah, I was tremendously let down by the transfiguration of Nataku's arms. I was expecting beautifully ornate and ultra destructive looking dragon heads. What do we get? I have no idea what, but I can at least say they looked painful in the EW design
(Seriously...for a few times there it looked like they exceed their lengths)

As for the Katoki design (/brainfart back there)
Well, as a rule, Katoki never seems to be big on...well...gimmicks. As such, it's not surprising to see he pulled the flame throwers and gave the dragon head a more...well...mechanical look. (One of the good things about Okawara really...given he does some quality super robot designs, he's not afraid to give Gundams some new gimmicks
...granted I'm still of the suspicion the stuff he's cooked up for Destiny is an attempt to get fired, but I digress.)
