eva live action movie

Hey I'm all for it, they could like do it for one of the long dramatic scenes, like the Rei & Asuka elevator scene or the Shinji-Kaworu-Eva 01 scene, so that no one dies of waiting for something to happen, they can have us debating some aspect of Rei's being in the background. (Can't have that in a big budget movie, that's only for TV shows)

Relax. The realization that at least 20% of them won't live until 2010 should bring them back to earth

Has anyone watched the interview on Evangelion: Resurrection yet? It was a 20-minute interview with two of the head designers at Weta Workshop about the Eva: Live Action project. They showed a few dozen production drawings (all of which were absolutely beautiful, I'd pay a couple thousand to hang one on my wall) and talked about the design process, how they're approaching it, etc.

Having watched it, I'm actually somewhat encouraged that they'll do Eva correctly.

I was hoping somebody would say something about that extra sometime soon.

When I have time (perhaps tonight?), I plan on capturing stills of every sketch they showed. I may even rip the audio into MP3 if anyone's interested. Not only did they show the revised Asuka uniform, but sketches for two other female Eva pilots as well, one of whom had a gun...

In any case, really good stuff. In fact, I'll start on those caps now...

Sounds cool, I saw the back end of the Asuka suit from that capture on that mag article from a few months ago, but that was it :\

I just bleached my hair almost totally white. Now all I need is a pair of red contact lenses!
