Yep; for reference, the first scenes in episode four are very similar to the opening scenes of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Right franchise, wrong installment (sorry Cliff).

Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

Re: Anime Trivia
Apologies for using the above rule again, but since it's been over four days since a question, I decided to try to get the thread going again. The Rules:
.
.
Keaton's Necropost-Immunity Traffic-Uppage Rule:
After at least two days of no new questions or answers, anyone can restart the thread by asking a new question. There is no such thing, then, as necroposting on the trivia thread. (5/21/03)

The following (relatively easy) question comes from the motion picture Memories:
In Episode 1 (Magnetic Rose), what was the name of the salvage vessel?

Okay, 24 hours have passed (actually more -- sumimasen!); time to put another Q. Whoever answers either correctly will get the thread. To recap, here's the first question:
In the S movie, a particular Japanese folk tale is referenced frequently. The question: What is the name of the principal character in this folk tale?
The second question comes from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. Specifically, the S motion picture.CliffD wrote:The following question comes from the motion picture Memories:

Unfortunately, this is not the specific reference I was looking for, although I'll admit it's tempting. However, I'm looking for the folk tale reference that was specifically in the S movie.motemote wrote:Tsukino Usagi if ya wanted it in nihongo

Close enough, although I don't think the original folktale involved snow. Kakeru (the male professor in the S movie, who rescues Luna from traffic) held a romantic belief in the story of Kaguya-hime (a story about a princess from the Moon; also known as the Bamboo-cutter's Tale, since Kaguya-hime was found by a poor farmer cutting bamboo, who found her in a particularly glowing piece). He even named a mysterious comet "Princess Snow Kaguya," little knowing the Evil the comet contained.Moonlight Soldier wrote:Wow this is right up my alley
Answer= Princess Snow Kaguya...
Luna, who has fallen for her rescuer (gravely ill due to PSK), wants to save Kakeru; to be "the Moon Princess of his dreams." Eventually, this leads to Luna (with a little help from Moon Freak . . . er, Sailor Moon) transforming (at least temporarily) into a human girl. It definitely helps Kakeru, and puts a bit of closure on Luna's love for him (and leads to her opening up a bit more towards Artemis).
In case you haven't figured it out, I have something of a soft spot for this particular part of Sailor Moon. The S movie is really the very first SM anime I really liked (previously I wouldn't be caught DEAD watching SM -- I even took to calling the main character "Moon Freak").
Now, as for the question from Memories. The name of the salvage vessel is the Corona.
Moonlight Soldier, your move!
