Oh come on, that's the first series... you guys should have seen it all by now.
But fair warning, if anyone spills the ending of Monster before I see it, I will personally hunt you down and force you to watch Manos: Hand of Fate for 27 hours straight.

Well you know the later parts of Monster did have that effect on me.
Like that one part where Johann has to block a huge laser beam with his mecha to save his brother

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

The only anime that really ever succeeded in killing me on the inside and jerking out a few tears at times was Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. Simply because that show has a few real life lessons in it and the story line is a real life possibility. The show has way too much drama in it and at times it overloads you, which made me sad. Other then that I've never seen an anime that had a huge impact on me emotionally. That one though just had all the right things going for it and is probably the best drama anime I ever seen.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

I cried after watching "Wild Cardz" cause I knew I wouldn't be able to get my money back for the DVD.
That and Garzey's Wing are the WORST anime's in existince. Those should be given out to anime fans in place of coal for all those who have been bad.
Although the Coal is burnable so atleast it's usefull... unlike those DVD's.
