Visited some site yesterday and damn, Heero was paired with Minako (SM), again.
Really, some of these pairings, especially in the G Wing universe are annoying.
What do you guys think?

What's sad is, from what I've seen anyways, a good 80+% of Wing's current fandom is all about the pairings...trust me, one doesn't forget that fandom after they start going apeshit on you for saying you think Heero and Duo would be more inclined to try and kill each other then to start doing it.

This in and of itself wouldn't bug me as much...except for realizing in part that this was a giant marketing blitz. They left the boys' sexuality ambiguous just to garner that kind of a following and, as such, when it hit the US, it spread like hotcakes (...to such a point UC got prettymuch hosed as soon as it got here, but I digress...)

Anyways, as I'm rambling, I'll bring this one home...

Yeah, pairings in GW get to be a nuisance, especially when it seems that's all that some of the fandom knows about it (...scary fun fact: Apparently there is a percentage of the Wing slash community that has yet to watch the series and is getting all their info for this off the web.)

(P.S. Before I get ripped a new one, let me once again remind you, I'm only talking about SOME of the fandom, not all...)

When I watched Gundam Wing that kind of crap didn't even enter my mind. I did like the Heero Relena relationship however (the ability to tear up an invite to her party right in front of her, and then make her not feel bad about it was just cool).
But other then that, romance didn't enter into it, well maybe that cute girl who helped Duo out.

You're just stating the truth, facts.

Yes, I've read one of these "Slash" Fan Fiction, just couldn't believe it
The story was good but since I've seen GW, it's a moot point.

Some things just shouldn't happen, especially in the Gundam universe.
