Well, I do have the first part of Book 1 scanlated, but I haven't put it up - I need to replace my scans with the translated ones. A site group asked for my scans of the manga that I'd put up to use for scanlations and the last I'd heard they were working their way through, I just need to go contact them and see if they have any more up. I'll probably have to finish scanning the second book if they do. But it's worth it if you like Kagetsuya & Chihaya, in the fifth book you get to see the 'eden' scene where they become more than just 'partners.' ^_~ It's not too explicit, but it's pretty obvious what's going on.
And I definitely agree about Messiah being an intentional obstacle, she just threw him in so they'd still be miserable after they got kicked out of Eden - and to have something in the anime that adds onto the manga story.
Heh, and I'll finish the fic one of these days. I'm so bad about writing these days. But now you make *me* want to go reread 'Adept.' That's so sad... ^_^;

yeah.... that is something i want to read into. The anime just shows the whole cute scene at the end of episode two when Chihaya tells Kagetsuya that he wants to be with him if he dies. That was the only hint of fluff between them before they got explicit in the thrid episode......... the lime scene sorta just "popped" out of nowhere.... ^^;;I'll probably have to finish scanning the second book if they do. Heh, when I first watched Earthian I was pointing out all the little hints of a possible Kagetsuya/Chihaya pairning to my friend, and then that scene popped up and we were like, 'okay, don't need to look for hints anymore!' I had no idea the anime was yaoi at the time - this was before I ordered the manga.

haha lol.
Yeah...... my friend and i were watching it and we're both crazy yaoi fans so.... we're like "Kagetsuya and Chihaya should be a couple." *nod nod* and then the scene pops up and then my friend and I are like.. "I guess they are........."

.hack//DUSK implies feelings if twin incest in the episodes. That's a new low.
On a vaguely related and yet at the same time completely unrelated note, George R. R. Martin's 'A Song of Ice and Fire' is not only the best fantasy series I've ever read but it also features a pair of twins, one married (to the king) and one sworn to celibacy (and to protect the king, although he killed the previous one under a similar vow) not only carrying out incest, but having three children by it, whom they pass off as the king's children
You're not supposed to like them, by the way.

Man, there is way too much incest going on in anime (and real life). And twins - I haven't seen that anime, but there's Angel Sanctuary where Rosiel and Alexial - he wants to have sex with his sister, so that's pretty much the same thing. And they're twins. I'm not sure where they come up with some of this stuff.

And Lyrs pops up to list two animes I've never seen. ~_~ There are so many couples on this list that I've never even heard of. I must research more - I want to know what the craze is about Princess Mononoke (and find out if this prince is cute, that's always nice to know.) I think I may have seen an amv for the couple from Armitage, though...
