In the eX-Driver world, what's different about the cars of the eX-Drivers (compared to all the other cars)?

Hazuki's a daywalker. Don't know about Kinkel, he just pretents to be one with his light bending tricks.

Eh, actually around the end of episode 12, Elfriede did mention that Kinkel was a Daywalker.

Yes, Elfriede said that in ep 12, but in ep 13 a caught fire because he was hit by sunlight.

Funny anime response would be because he's got to wear them to keep from always being so good looking and mac daddy all the ladies.

Real answer, if I remember correctly, is that he's hiding his face out of shame due to a breakup from a relationship he had a long time ago. The first time I remember seeing him take the glasses off is when he and the girl get back together. And by get back together...

...well let's just say the scene panned out after he did that!
