It wasn't -- the tanuki picked up the television AFTER the meeting. Excellent guess, though (I had to check my R2 copy again to make certain).

Still open, and time to introduce a new question.

Q1:
CliffD wrote:This question comes from the motion picture Heisei Tanuki Gassen Ponpoko (or simply known as Pom Poko).

Early in the film, the council of chiefs meet to make their early plans on sabotaging the construction project. They decide on a multi-year plan, to study humans, to train in the art of transformation, and to send travellers to other parts in Japan, to seek out the Masters of transformation. Just prior to the meeting's adjournment, the chiefs proceed to study ONE human creation RIGHT THEN AND THERE.

THE QUESTION: What human creation did the chiefs "study" near the end of the meeting?
Q2:
This question comes from the motion picture Houhokekyo Tonari no Yamada-kun (aka My Neighbors the Yamadas).

At one point in the film we see Nonoko's classroom, where the students are showing their personal mottos to the class. When they ask their teacher, Fujiwara-sensei, what HER motto is (and No, it's NOT "Get Married" or "Have Children"), she puts it down on paper and shows it to the class.

THE QUESTION: What is Fujiwara-sensei's motto?

50 people? But I don't know if this includes the seat for the pilot and copilot, so it might be 48?

Dirty Pair, Flight 005 Conspiracy: Name the manufacturer of the hovercar thingy Kei and Yuri are driving.

Hint: All the cars in this movie have only slightly modified present day real world car manufacturer logos.

Kodomo no Omocha: Early in the series Sana challanges Akito to a bungee jumping duel. To make sure it's safe, she tested the whole thing with a human-weight doll.
Question: How heavy is this human-weight doll in kg?
