Samurai X has some pretty bad gore scenes. Same with Jin Roh, but Vampire Hunter D has some bad ass effects. Not only the fact of them sucking the blood out of humans, but whole entire fact that name "Bloodlust," really means what it says. Also Hellsing has gruesome parts but it's all good with vampires.

Too bad the show's called Rurouni Kenshin...Samurai X is the bastardized name ADV gave it b/c they think people will think it's cool...I'm guessing this has something to do with the "DBZ generation" or whatnot...I can see some DBZ fans flaming me now...I didn't say anything negative about it btw.
