to buy or not to buy (escaflowne)

your preaching to the converted ... i "was" debating wether i should get the box set online or if should just pick up the single dvd's ... but i figure i'd save way more money this way then paying $56 for each dvd ... any ways theres no argument about it now ... i jsut have to figure out how i'm going to go about doing it.

i bought the dvds individually.... cos you dont get box sets in the uk............. still waiting for disk 7 and 8........ get the whole set at once, get a good seat...... and watch it all in one go.............. get sucked into a world where everyone has a really pointy nose..............

i'm pretty sure you can get the box set in the UK on:
www.dc-dvd.com but its really expensive.

BTW where did you get ur dvds from? cuz i buy mine from www.play.com and so can get r1 dvds which work on my multi-region dvd player YaY.

also www.cd-wow.com do the evangelion box set for only 55 quid! only for the uk though...

if i buy the box set i'll pay about $250. If i buy them indavidualy i'll problaby pay around 400 ... so i'm much better off getting the box set once i sit down and take the time to figure out how to order ...

If it's cheaper, then yeah...definitely the boxset. I might also add the boxset is one of the nicest boxes I have seen from bandai. It also comes with a bonus Action figure which is probably ~10 - 15 bucks too.

minor set back ... i can't buy that box set untill i get a job ... it turns out that a certain amount of money in my account was supposed to be set aside and locked in a high interest savings account ... but a'm getting pretty close to that amount, so technicaly i have no money any more ... i love how my parents decide to tell me shit in advance ... well now i really need to step on it and get a job.

Oh and i knew about the action figure, though it's not one of the main reasons i wanted the box set, i want it because Esca is a fucking good series, i save a lot of money getting the box set, and i can add the box to my box collection in my closet. Yes i have a box collection ... that is normal right >> <<
