I like Bebop more.
Trigun made me laugh.
So did Bebop.
I have all Sessions except number four.

Trigun was way more funnier, but feel of it didnt compare to Bebop.
I think it is because Trigun has mostly desert and bebop spanned from space to stations to earth mars Jupiter etc.

I have to watch the episodes again (100th time a t least)
Ill post tomorrow.

I really didn't like the ending to trigun. the entire series is about a gunman with a strict sense of morals - placing his pacifist principles over money, power, and vengeance. And how does it end? a straight-out gunfight. It's as if the anime is telling us that we should just take the easy way out by resorting to violence.
Acctually, the ending of Trigun showed that you can win without violence. Atleast that's what I felt... Vash wounded Knives, yeah, but instead of just shooting him dead, which would have been a lot easier, he spared his life. Besides, it would be impossible to beat Knives by just using kind words... but in the end, Vash still stood by his morals.

Umm, no, he'd probably end up killing a lot of people ... the first time that happened to him he destroyed the town of July(?), and accidentaly killed a lot of people ... i think.
When July was destroyed in the show he didn't kill anybody. The people died at the hands of each other after the city was destroyed, but in the manga I think it lets on that people died directly from the angel arm. I don't think Vash refuses to use his angel arm because it kills people, I think he refuses to use it since he goes mentally unstable afterwards. o.O

That's just my opinion though...

I dunno about that... it's pretty clear with the whole Rem flashback ep that Vash doesn't want to kill anybody. I mean, he spazzed when Knives killed a spider. I think that his mental instability is a result of the fact that people die.

Lost July:

Elizabeth: I don't know what kind of witch craft you used. The city was so badly destroyed, yet no one was killed.

And nobody was cleared out of the city like in Augusta, so obviously Vash's Angel Arm doesn't kill people. It just vaporizes buildings.

hmmm i see ... though i still think vash hates using the angel arm because of the imense probalbity of people getting killed by falling debris and so forth. If he were to use that thing inside a building (like a jail cell as suggested earlier) odds are he'd end up killing a lot of people, and he'd probalby end up killing him self too.

*accepts defeat*

I see what you're saying... And even if it wasn't by debris, if there was a repeat incident of July people would end up killing each other like they did in July. So Vash would indirectly be killing people... of course he was doing that the entire series anyways.

Thanks for the info. True, there probably was no way Vash could have stopped Knives without violence. But it just made the ending so banal and disappointing, to me at least.

However why the heck did vash hold a gun up at the end before it cut away and say ' i will...survive! ' when in the end he didnt finish him anyway. The anime should never of been made without the finishing of the manga, period. :|
