And no, there shouldn't be a sticky for favorites.
People have direct links to everybody's AMV profiles now. Just list your top 10 anime titles if it is that important that people know what you like.

I see no reason to continue clogging up GOT with so many favorite threads.

It's another thing if someone starts a thread regarding a title that might be considered rare in discussion, or newly released to encourage others to watch it, but even in these cases I'd like to see something more than just:

directly after I comment on how posts like this aren't very useful.
But this also demonstrates that most people don't even bother to read what is written in a thread. They see the title and they post. For this reason alone a sticky would quickly become a long and useless chain of posts that few people, newbs especially, would look through.

Freudian slip there, I think.

Using the list in the second profile would cut down on this sort of thing....assuming people notice 'em.

So my slip must mean that in my mind's eye, GA has become as meaningless as GOT. Too true. Might as well locked it away now.

Yes... I do completely agree with you on this. Some threads... and all favorites threads are completely useless.
