Give me an anime you've seen, and I'll give you some links. It's best to read fanfiction for an anime you're familiar with - especially if you haven't read any before (shonen ai fanfics - the good ones - tend to take a lot for granted, namely that the reader knows the characters from the anime).

Or better yet, name some non-yaoi anime and I'll see if I can scrounge up a yaoi vid for it. Then you'll see exactly where yaoi fans get their 'hints' from in a supposedly non-yaoi anime. ^.~

Anime title spun off a popular anime-style game series (RPG's I think). I'm pretty sure that's been released over here... I've seen an episode of it in Japanese once.

Ok...hmm, Lodoss War...I've been meaning to see that one. I'm a Lord of the Rings fan and a fellow LOTR/anime fan said she loved it.

Yup, it was one of the first games on PS1, and was more recently re-put out in a perfect collection by Working Designs. The show is pretty good IMO,it was the first anime I ever ordered, mainly because it was something I recognized and felt safe with.

Its pretty faithful to the game, with a few changes and some later events removed (because of length issues) but they got it through alright. The only part that irked me was how they changed the ending slightly, it gave it more of a story book feel, adding to much to the romanticism side while detracting to much from the realism side.

I recommend that one too. Check out the OVA first, then move on to Chronicles of the Heroic Knight. Both have amazing soundtracks by the way. Though chronicles has more comedy elemets to it.

Plus if you like the show you should get the Welcome to Lodoss Island manga, I read a copy in a bookstore once and it was hilarious. (whis I could find it for sale again)

For the guys: What would you rather see, a cute girl kissing some dude, or a cute girl kissing some girl?
Thats how it is for me, only, since im a girl, i like yaoi, not yuri.
