Now I'm skeptical. Could you describe that series?
Sounds like you're talking about Hanada Shounen Shi.
Damn, thanks. I couldn't remember the name for the life of me, and no amount of googling seemed to be helping ^_^;;

And how could I have forgotten Shingetsutan Tsukihime and Rah Xephon? Thanks for the reminder, Koji :P

I'd have to say that the best music would've been in FLCL and Outlaw Star.
Subsequently, does anybody know where I can find the OST for FLCL? I can't seem to track the SOB down.

hmmm...
Hellsing was fun to hear.
Noir was great, but they made the music too important while the series. kinda distrubting.
Bebop... first impression: Yay. Second Impression: Nah
EVA: Fly me to the moon... lalala..

And last but not least: I honesly hate the series, but Hack/signs OST is awesome.

*slaps self upside forehead* Dammit! I knew I was forgetting something...ah well...anyways, yeah, Lupin's got a good soundtrack to it *in the minority that finds the Lupin III theme catchier than 'Tank!'*

I agree that ANYTHING by Yoko Kanno is awesome! :) That would be Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain and Escaflowne certainly. The music from Inuyasha and .hack//SIGN also rules. Vampire Princess Miyu has a few good songs and Witch Hunter Robin as GREAT music! I love the opening song! WOOT! :D

Yu Yu Hakusho - I like every song for that anime except Toguro's song (I just hate his voice...) And this is one of those rare cases where I got the anime *after* listening to the music - I liked it before I even knew which characters were singing the different songs. ^"^
