Whoever hasn't seen Hoshi no Koe should get it and watch it NOW. I mean that. It's incredible.
And yes, it's the one made by one man, the voices by himself and his wife (originally).

yup Hoshi no Koe is like a vibrant-colored tropical fish amongst the other crappy fish in the anime ocean. but it lacked a certain something... not the length of it, but.. go figure.

i bought the Oh My Goddess! 5-OVA dvds last month. but i've seen the the entire thing b4 so it's not inspiring enough to make an AMV.

someone hit me over the head with a spatula/pan combination..

i wanna buy a Chobits dvd box set of some sort once the whole series appear in the US.

Yeah, Hoshi no Koe was awesome! What made it even more incredible is knowing that one person made the whole thing by himself. Definately a must see anime.

Today i bought the Ah! My Goddess movie. I saw the 5 OVA's over the weekend and I loved them. I'm going to buy them as soon as i can along with ruroni kenshin.

it means "Original Video Animation", aka "OAV", which means "Original Animated Video"... it's just a short series, or a single episode, of anime. some great OVAs spawn tv shows/movies or vice-versa, and OVA's usually have a different' animation from the tv shows/movies. some examples are Ah! My Goddess OVAs and Ah! My Goddess the Movie

here the OVAs are followed up by a movie, which looks more beautiful than the OVAs in terms of animation.
