Should more animes be turned into Live Action Movies?

I think the question should be not whether they should be turned to film, but how they should be turned into film. I'd have nothing against live action adaptations if they didn't try to butcher the story every other time
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Well, I'd certainly get a laugh out of anyone trying to act out certain slapstick humor.
Indeed, much anime comedy IS unadaptable.
But the more action/drama oriented stuff - that's closer.

I dont think the media is that important. Yes it is what defines a story as anime, but it is still a story.
If done correctly i think it would be great turning some animes into LA movies. I highly doubt the creators themselves would mind that it was animated, as long as their story was being told. Who knows, it could help more then harm in my opinion.

Sorries, I guess I was misinformed on that one, but I know that The Matrix was based off of a manga.UncleMilo wrote:Kill Bill? I've listened to Tarantino... and he talked about all the films and TV shows that influenced the creation of Kill Bill... but as far as I know there was no one previous Kill Bill title that the movie was based on. I think you're wrong there.
I like crazy people . . .
