AFAIK, he was just a super human. I'm pretty sure that Knives taught Legato how to use telepathy, I'm pretty sure it's explained in ep 24, before Vash kills him.
Nah, Legato had Vash's arm fused onto his body. Thats what gave him powers.

now i know everybody hates me for saying that but i refuse to give simpathy to those who got what they earned. well thats just my opinion
The thing was that Wolfwood died at precisely the time he'd decided to change his ways. Not to mention just fallen in love with Millie. Wolfwood on top of that wasn't really a bad person, look at the way he cares for children, etc. etc. He didn't kill Churchman in ep. 23 because he'd decided the way he'd been living his life was wrong. And what happened when he changed his ways to those of Vash? Legato shot him. This is what's so sad about the situation. Not to mention the monologue he has while "Talking to God" before he dies is quite moving.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Kenshin's death was really sad, but not too surprising for me..

KENSHIN SEISOUHEN SPOILER!

I can't remember who asked, but as to how Kenshin dies - he gets a fatal disease that causes him to have rashes all over his body (and he loses his memory for a bit).. In the end his body just gives out and he dies. Kaoru gets the disease from Kenshin and it's a pretty safe bet that she died shortly afterwards..

I guess mine will have to be Eva related since all of Eva character death's are dispairing.

Eva Spoiler!

The one where I cried out NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Was the one with the death of Koji's arm and leg's when Eva 01 is under the control of the dummy system. Well it is a death, in a sense.

My second has to be the Death of Asuka when Shinji :sniffs: I won't say. It brings up bad memories. Actually I felt so very depressed after I watched that scene.

Even i consider myself to be a worthy EoE otaku, I cannot relate to the ending.. i just can't..

i don't mean to say that the whole "death" bit in EoE wasn't dramatic but i sure as hellfire remember that it didn't bother me one bit..

It was just.. this isn't happening.. This is NGe. This isn't real life..

BUT.. I have four other words for this thread...

Grave ..... of.. the .... fireflies...

The saddest... movie.. EVER.. no doubt about it..
EoE, Scryed, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun..

All of those cannot even begin to compare to the drama Miyazaki threw us in with that movie.. To the cold dusty floor of real life.

kiss the floor and cry

I know, shinji's got such a screwed up life. Man, having to kill your own friend, the only friend who ever knew you and cared for you, who you actually can depend on, that sucks.
