Ha-ha-ha-ha! Oh yeah, that's an important point I forgot about!blueshogun96 wrote:Kagome for sure. Unlike Kikyo, she's alive and hasn't been a corpse for 50 years. Personally I think kikyo looks better.
You're lucky... I've decided to let you live to see the day when I will rule the world.

Yeah! Let's start a fan support group for Kikyo! She's one hot biatch!
(She's not naturally that mean! She still thinks she was betrayed by Inuyasha, whose a jerk-wad anyways!) <---yes, I said it! Faroff voice: Fangirls, attack!
Uh-oh, here they come...

I'll just copy and paste something I wrote in one of the communities I frequent.
Meaning they can never have what they once did. It's a painful truth, but she seems to have accepted it. Inu Yasha is the one who can't move on.
As for Inu Yasha, she already told him it's not going to happen. I think it was around episode 48 that she said something along the lines of: "The red string of fate, once broken, can never be repaired."Oubliette wrote:YES, Kikyou has tried to kill Kagome and yes, she did try to take Inu Yasha into hell. No, it wasn't right. But you know what else wasn't right? Having a huge responsibility thrust upon you at an early age, knowing that you could never have a normal life, being murdered at seventeen and dying consumed by hatred and bitterness because you thought the one you loved had betrayed and killed you. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, folks. How about being FORCED back into existence inside a clay body so some youkai witch could exploit your abilities. First thing you see when you wake up is the man you thought murdered you not only alive and well, but cavorting around the countryside with some girl who not only looks like you - but is apparently your reincarnation. You confront the guy and he's swearing he never betrayed you. Yet how can you believe him when you felt him slice into your chest and leave you for dead in a field? When you heard him, smugly taunting you as you lay bleeding out your life's blood? That is betrayal, utter betrayal of the worst sort. I can't even begin to describe how devastating something like that could be. Then you have an old woman claiming to be your sweet younger sister - someone completely unknown to you now - telling you he's telling the truth.
Who wouldn't be in a world of confusion under the circumstances? I'm not trying to justify her bad deeds. I'm saying that I can understand why she would do these things. And you know what? Kikyou grows. Her character really evolves beyond all of the confusion and is able to put the blame where it belongs, yet still people refuse to see past those incidents. Look at her with the children she meets, with Suikotsu, with Hakushin. This is not a villainous character in any sense of the word. She is loving, she is caring, and she is kind DESPITE her hellish existence. Please excuse her for not being 'more understanding' or 'cheerful enough'. >/
