I'm a little hesitant to tell people about it; they already give me a hard time (just 'cuz this one guy likes me).

anyway though, it's not that I'm embarassed so much as that I don't trust some people to respect my preferences (especially the guys in my 4th period class). I'll tell some people though, like ones who I know like anime or who are mature enough not to give me a hard time.

It's pretty hard for me to talk about anime to certain people. Heck, I'm the ONLY person in the RIT Anime Club who's going for civil engineering technology; the rest of the people I'm acquainted with (like rose4emily) are either computer/software majors or art majors. And most of the people in my field are into rap and har rock. I sort of feel lonely, but in a way it feels kind of cool. :P

Maybe the hardcore, cosplaying, pokemon-loving ranting raving over-obsessive loud fans. Maybe.

No, anime doesn't embarass me. I'm extremely lucky in that not only do people respect me while assuming that whatever I like is going to be odd to them, but I also have plenty of anime liking friends (including upperclassmen) so I'm couvered.

As for anime fans embarrassing you, I spit on that mentality! *spits* (I'd expect that kind of crap of VegettoEX though. Why are you so pesimistic and hastey?)

I think anime might embarrass me, except for one not so minor detail. Most of the people who know me well (including most of my friends and parents) just accept it as part of the territory. As for others, well, of what import is the opinion of a stranger, unless you're running for political office?
