Does Anime embarass you?

I'm a little hesitant to tell people about it; they already give me a hard time (just 'cuz this one guy likes me).
anyway though, it's not that I'm embarassed so much as that I don't trust some people to respect my preferences (especially the guys in my 4th period class). I'll tell some people though, like ones who I know like anime or who are mature enough not to give me a hard time.

It's pretty hard for me to talk about anime to certain people. Heck, I'm the ONLY person in the RIT Anime Club who's going for civil engineering technology; the rest of the people I'm acquainted with (like rose4emily) are either computer/software majors or art majors. And most of the people in my field are into rap and har rock. I sort of feel lonely, but in a way it feels kind of cool.

No, anime doesn't embarass me. I'm extremely lucky in that not only do people respect me while assuming that whatever I like is going to be odd to them, but I also have plenty of anime liking friends (including upperclassmen) so I'm couvered.
As for anime fans embarrassing you, I spit on that mentality! *spits* (I'd expect that kind of crap of VegettoEX though. Why are you so pesimistic and hastey?)
