The last three episdoes of Fruits Basket. The whole ordeal with Tohru finding out Kyp's secret and confronting Akito.

after countless attacks by Lina Inverse and her friends, they were no match for Gaav, then Hellmaster apperaed and killed Gaav like he was nothing was nothing. just breaks my heart to see Gaav die

EOE: When Asuka was fighting the army and the rest of the eva series. It was so well done I was compelled to watch the rest of the series (I watched the movie before the show...). Plus, she went beserker. Every beserker is a good moment in Evangelion.

Fushigi Yugi: When Nuriko died. I was in shock. Have you ever found out that someone was your favourite character in a certain show AFTER they died? -__-;;

Naruto: When Naruto was dragging himself towards Gaara by his chin and he looked up. His eyes were so sad and I got pretty choked up when he said, "I understand your feelings so much it actually hurts." It hurt me too! ><
Also when Haku died and Zabuza reached up to put a hand to his face and the snow which fell on his cheek was so... *can't find the words to express it*

Full Metal Alchemist: When Nina died and Edward stood in the rain pounding his fists on her remnants on the wall and crying. Poor, poor Ed.

Cowboy Bebop: When Edward and Faye both left and Spike and Jet were stuffing eggs in their mouths. Then when we see the last shot of Edward and Ein running off into the distance. Strangely this affected me more than when Spike died. I think it's because I already knew what was going to happen at the end of Cowboy Bebop. ^^;

I may not be much of a DBZ fan, but I am a Vegeta fan.

So whenever Vegeta cried (what, twice?), it got to me. He spent so much of his life being a tough guy, that when he cried, it showed how deep in despair he really was. The only two times I remember him crying was once in the series, and once in a movie.

In the series, whenever trunks first came around to warn goku, they went super saijin together and vegeta could only just look on. That same night he cried in his dream, haunted by his limitations.

I don't remember the one from the movie well enough to tell about it. Although it was the return of fusion one.

Hrm, let's see if I remember:

In the fusion movie, I believe you are refering to the time Vegita fights Janemba (rather foolishly, too) and is beaten rather soundly. In order to prevent his disappearing (remeber he is already dead), Goku grabs and transports him to a somewhat safer location. He then procliams that he would rather die than fuse with Goku, but isn't really sad. The crying comes from pain, if I remember correctly, because Janemba uses a blast into the hiding place, and Vegita utters a word that was subtitled as shit, but don't hold me for that translation. That leads me to believe it was from pain, or perhaps frustration. Either way...

But there is another time, I'll have you know...

When Vegita is killed by Freiza, or rather before he dies, he speaks to Goku about what he went through. The pain and humiliation he faced brings him to tears, and also the joy of realizing Freiza might fall to the hands of his foe, but still his fellow saiya-jin.

People people people, you forgot the event preceeding the Excel Saga event you mention:

Excel pounds on the door until her hands bleed. That shows her devotion to Ilpalazzo, which is let down by the eventual shot through the heart, a most symbolic location to shoot someone who loves you, don't you agree?

Almost every volume in my collection has some sort of powerful moment, but I'm far too lazy to look for them right now. Oh, and all statements that aren't spoilers are made in light-hearted jest.
