Neon Genisis: Evangelion

Yes to both. Neon Genesis Evangelion is the greatest anime series I have ever seen and over at animenewsnetwork.com it ranks number 2 out of all the other animes. I also strongly recommend cowboy bebop, but not as strongly as Evangelion. You can tell I am a real freak for that series considering my user name.

And one more you might want to check out is Berserk. All are Grade A+++ series!
