I dont think there is enough Mecha anime. I would like to see Armor Core become an anime cuz its all cool and stuff. Pretty much there is only 1 mecha anime that rules all others and that would be the Gundam series. The mecha that made Gundam possiable would be all of the Zeon's Mobile Suits. SIEG ZEON!!
If the army or navy ever looks upon heavens scenes, they would see that the streets are guarded by the United States Marines.

I guess you missed out on the 70s and giant robot anime everywhere.GaavTheDemonDragonKing wrote:I dont think there is enough Mecha anime.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is just a drop in the bucket for giant robot anime. I don't know why everyone praises it like there's no other robot anime out there. I wonder how many more times ADV will find ways to re-release it. It's like the Pokemon of big robot anime! Gotta buy 'em all!
I've got 300 anime DVDs in my collection!
Really? What'cha got?
Neon Genesis Evangelion.
And what else?
That's it.

Frankly I'm still loving the fact the main reason EVA seems like such a standout is mainly because the shows which inspired it simply haven't been brought over yet. (That might change however...there's talk ADV plans to license Space Runaway Ideon, one of the shows which is said to have been a big influence on several aspects of EVA)

You know, I'm going to have to agree with you there. It is plain overkill to me. And why did Manga do the movies when ADV had the series?Harlock7876 wrote:I guess you missed out on the 70s and giant robot anime everywhere.GaavTheDemonDragonKing wrote:I dont think there is enough Mecha anime.

I thought Gasaraki was an interesting and well made anime. I would recomend it.
One that I count as one of my favorites, funny and fairly well made, Dai Guard. A little different because it's an old and not so "state of the art" mecha, run by people from the pr department of a security company, and they have to save the world.

Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?
