Is there any Tenchi Muyo fans here?

ive been reading every article in every anime magazine that i can find about tenchi and supposidly there will a new ova in which tenchi choses a...a ......BRIDE!!!! *gasps* and if it turns out to be ryoko i will be extreemly sad as SHES MINE!!!! *laughs* but just our luck tenchi will chose someone else like sasami or something like that *shrugs* who knows *laughs*

I am going to stick with Ryoko...i prefer the tenchi universe and 3 movies, and for me, that was enough said (at the end of 3rd movie)

SPOILER:

In the final movie, at one point Ayeka basically has to talk Ryoko into going back for tenchi, as Ryoko's heart has been beaten downa bit too much and she wants to give up. Aeyka pretty much says "I want to be the one to go get him, but you know i can't reach him...not like you do". And don't forget, Tenchi, even while all of his memories had been erased, he couldn't get Ryoko out of his head...he painted her, drew her, much to Haruna's anger. When Ryoko and Aeyka stormed Haruna's place to get Tenchi, he looks blankly at Ayeka and says "who are you?' but to Ryoko, immediate recognition with "Ryoko! What are you doing here?!" And at the end, thier way of talking, and thier looks...they have both grown so much, and changed, and ...ah..that final shot...aaah..

well how could you forget a demon that chased you thru your school and then in the end ultamitly blew it up, and when he got home there she was in his bed....you cant forget something like that *laughs*

GXP episode 17 takes place after the third OVA, so you could watch that over an over again as closely as possible and try to figure out who Tenchi picked from their behavior. Here's a hint: I did and still got nowhere.

Quite true. There seems to be no definite choice in that ep. or in the last one. When it shows the old cast in the last GXP ep. they are seated during the wedding but there seems to be no particular arangment. But since Tenchi is part of the Royal Family his choice may be made for him like it was for Seina. I won't say anything else incase everyone hasn't seen it, but those that have will know what I'm talking about.

Is GXP any good? It's the one Tenchi series I have yet to see, aside from the first couple of episodes.

As much as i love most Tenchi's (barring Tokyo), I didn't care for GXP. The spinoff was too loose for me, and i only got through the first few myself (and the one with Ayeka and Ryoko), it just didn't grab me, and i didn't like the style...

i havent seen Gxp yet but i realy want to. ive seen the ep. in FYE before but i didnt have enough money on me to buy them at the time....it was a big buzz kill *sighs*

GXP is worth watching if nothing else it gives insites into the original Tenchi-Verse, the OVA's. It tells a little about the history behind the Jurian Empire, for those that have yet, or cann't read the novels.

I think that they will probably have more than just the 3rd OVA because if they don't they wont make as much money! I hope that GXP is ok, it sounds pretty good (just not as good as the original Tenchi!). Thanks all of you so far who have signed the petition! Keep on signing!
