If you're only watching anime because it isn't mainstream, you have a problem. And really, if you think about it, it already is main stream. Just look at how much it's on T.V. now. And at least in my area last year (I think it was last year, anyways. I can't remember), Spirited Away opened in some rather big theatres, not just the small Landmark ones. And for me personally, as I've watched this rapid growth over the past few years, I can't say that I dislike it. We're getting shows from Japan now much faster then we used to, along with the fact that it's far easier to actually meet people now that are in to this, and discuss various shows and such with them.
