I said this about 10 times before, I'll say it again.......

If the anime came out in America first with English voices, then premiered in Japan with Jap voices, you will most likely like the English version better!!

This has happened with animated movies made by disney that come out in Japan. Those Jap voices sucked ass in Lion King 1 and 1/2!! It was HORRIBLE!!......why I was watching a Japanese version Lion King 1 and 1/2, don't ask.....[/i]

Your metaphor is flawed, though. A correct comparison would be "If Americans prefer the original (Japanese) dub over the new (American) dub, would Japanese people prefer an original (American) dub over the new (Japanese) dub?"

The next time I'm on campus I'll ask a few students what they prefer to listen to.

The reason why some people hate dubs cause they think they are superior and a bigger "otaku" than the person to watches dubs.
