The original Vampire Princess Miyu, that thing was beautiful, the music was great and I loved the story, I was dissapointed with the new tv series I refuse to watch it.

Oh, Iria: Zeiram Hunter! That was so cool.

And Robot Hunter Casshan... Robot Carnival...

Good stuff.

What really got me, though, was the greatest anime in the history of anime; Giant Robo.

Sailor Moon was a huge thing here when I was 7 or 8 years old. I had no idea it was anime though. Actually, what really got me into anime was the internet. I still don't know why, but one day I was on the computer and I searched anime on google, even though I don't recall having heard that term before. Around the same time, Gundam Wing and Escaflowne started playing on YTV, and I was hooked.

First anime I actually bought was Inuyasha, although I just recently discovered it's probably a bootleg.

I remember waking up everyday at 6:00 on channel 11 just to watch and record all the episodes of salior moon. That was memorable even till this day. 11 years ago by the way.

My brother, and he got into anime in a unusual way, i think
He was looking through Reel Big Fish videos when he found Akimbo's Somebody Hates Me amv. That got him into Trigun, and subsequently into anime and AMV making.

Inu-yasha was my first anime

Never had cable till a couple years ago so i missed all the early animes.
I was watching YTV (canadian) and i saw Inu-yasha, watched it thought it was stupid.
Year or so later its time slot changed and i saw it again and started watching it now i wonder what i was on the first time i saw it.
