If I'm not mistaken, Tales of Destiny already IS an anime.

Really, I had no idea. The only problem though is that it looks like it is only in Japanese. If it was released here I would certainly watch it.OtakuMan22 wrote:If I'm not mistaken, Tales of Destiny already IS an anime.

Hmm, according to ANN, Media Blasters licensed it back in 2002, but I am not sure if it's been released stateside... let's see...

...searching Right Stuf Inc....no release data found...
...searching Anime Nation...no release data found...
Well, it appears that Media Blasters licensed the anime 3 years ago, and still hasn't done anything to release it in the states, at least as far as it looks from here. If they did release it, then the DVD must be hard to find because I can't find it on any of the online stores.
So this poses a dilly of a moral question:
The anime has been licensed so fansub releases should have stopped by now... but the anime company hasn't done anything with it.
In this situation, the only feasable way to see it would be to find a fansub for it and download or send away for it (the latter being what is now an archaic method). Yet, Media Blasters should still have that license.
...or do they?
I believe the moral choice is up to you my friend on whether to search for a fansub or not. If you really want to see it that badly, then a fansub might be the way to go. I saw a fansub of it at my anime club a couple years ago, and while the story is typical RPG flare and such, the sheer amount of RPG gags they put in there is simply HYSTERICAL!
"I summon the spirit of Undine! Attack those monsters!"
Undine: "I am sorry, but those monsters are of a water disposition! My magic would only bt 50% effective against them!"
The fact that they actually SAY that in the anime is FREAKIN' HYSTERICAL! It's like watching the entire RPG, text messages and breaking the 4th barrier such as "Press the X button to speak" kind of things, all rolled into an anime. The same thing goes for the recently released Star Ocean EX (Which I believe takes place either before or during Star Ocean 2). That came out a while ago, but I caught a fansub of it, and they're in a battle and...
..."Wait, don't attack him! See that orb! It must be controlling him! Attack the orb!"...
It's almost as good as the inclusion of the Konami Code in Battle Atheletes Victory!![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Now as for Chaos Legion, that game was pretty badass.
AND HARD AS ALL GET UP! GEEZ! I tried playing that puppy on normal mode, and unless I managed my items JUST right, then I'd be dead as a doornail. When my wife played it, she got so frustrated at it, that we returned the game before we beat it (Unusual for the two of us).
I'd like to see an anime of it just to see how it ends!

video game
That would have to be Legend of dragoon. It would also be nice if square soft would make a movie out of Final fantasy 8. There is advent children for FF7, But 8 was really good as well. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Still wish they made a King of Fighters or Metal Slug anime. I'm wondering what a Castlevania anime or a Guilty Gear anime would be like.
By the way, Super Mario Bros. I heard it was pretty bad.
