WTF is up with "Adult Swim"?

While not so much skipped episodes, it seems AS's latest run of Bebop (... ...personally, I think they need to brush the dust off some of their other shows...Bebop can only sustain for just so long) they've just been kind of shuffling the eps around.

I say bring back Outlaw star! I loved it when they still showed it on saturday night, then they just suddenly cut it from the line-up.

Outlaw star had an episode taken out as well, episode 23 or 24 I beleive. ^_^ such a nice episode...such a very nice episode....ahh wonderful hotsprings(and not to mention the comedy of gene fireing a caster shell into a glass roof to a hidden place on a mountain covered in snow.....smart one gene...REAL smart...)

It's a shame they cut that ep...I can understand why they did, yeah...but as fillers go, that's one of the more entertaining I've ever seen...plus, it finally explained how casters worked (...FINALLY making Gene's comments in the next eps about the 4 new shells make sense)

As far as I see this edit, its a kid with a gun in his mouth. Athough the show is called Adult Swim, alot of kids watch it. Kids seeing a gun in another kid's mouth might make them want to do it. A gun to a head of an adult girl may be tempting for a child to perform but seeing a kid of around the same age with a gun in their mouth.......you see what I'm getting at?

I think the reason they edited that out was because it was a kid who was getting a gun shoved in his mouth, and that peobally offended some parents. Also, I think having "Save by the Bell" on the block was just a silly joke.

Sorry for the double post but I didnt see your msg, Gene had to get footage of the (forgot the exact names for them so...) caster shell maker woman person thing o.o naked. She found out, said she'd brb took the cam into the other room then gave it back to gene to take to them. they popped the vid in and the whole time you see numbers in the corner. It was a time bomb ^.^


I agree with the old guy at the very end...it was worth it dammit.

I was just watching Trigun and they cut out the scene from episode 7 "BDN" where this kid gets a gun stuck on his teeth then stuck in his mouth. The cut 12 seconds out. I wonder what is so bad about that scene that they had to cut it. I don't get it. Do they cut appropriate scenes like that all the time? I could understand graphic violence or nudity but why such simple things like that?

Hence the reason I never watch anime on adult swim or on TV for that matter I buy the stuff. Another reason as to why I am broke. I usually only watch Adult Swim thought up shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force. The thing i want to know is why the fuck they ever put on or even thought about putting on saved by the bell. That I just don't get!

As far as Saved By The Bell goes, I read somewhere on wikipedia that since Cartoon Network was showing some live action type stuff, AS would eventually have to do it too. AS reluctantly complied, since they didn't much of a choice in the matter.
