I really like Asuka, but Ryoko Mitsarugi from Real Bout Highschool is quite cool
"I've spent the last ten years of my life defending my country, I've sacrificed for it, fought for it, and bled for it, now it's time I got something back, so please just respect me and my fellow Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines as we continue to do this job."

That is such a perfect description of Asuka from Evangelion!CaTaClYsM wrote: the biggest tightass/dumbass in all of anime. He cares about noone but himself, he is a hypocrit, a megalomaniac, a jerk, prick, and pretty much everything that is not good or like-able.
Greatest of all time is Rei Ayanami. She's the pilot of a giant synthetic lifeform that looks like a robot, an Angel-Human hybrid, the savior of the world and bringer of its end, and a very hot 14-year-old girl. If greatness isn't in there, then we need a new dictionary.
Botan from Yu-Yu Hakusho is noteworthy, what with being an outrageously cute female Grim Reaper and all. Fear her when she wields a baseball bat!

Wrong. He didn't kill them because they killed women and children, he killed them because they were killing people, not to feed, but just for the fun of it. Alucard never once kills anyone in that show just for the fun of it. He kills the reporter, yes, but he feeds on her as well, whereas the vamps in episode 2 do not feed on all of their victims, they simply slaughter them. That is not hypocrisy.CaTaClYsM wrote:Yes, but the hypocrisy is unneeded and unlike. In ep 2 he kills those vampires because they fed on women and childern and in ep 3, ( or 4 I forget) he then goes and kills a women to keep her from blabing about Hellsing. And then the other part about how he has to go and explain to everyone in LONG detail about why he is going to kill then and why they don't deserve to live.
"Oh wait, let me get me jot this down. right, right, women, uh hu, children, right right. So let me get this strait, I deserve to die because I did what now? Killed people? Say what now? Kill is bad? when did that happen?"
You seem to be implying Alucard has no good qualities, which is far from the truth. He's quite dignified, for one thing, and for another, he's fiercely loyal to Integral, as proven by the fact that the seals on his powers were completely released in the last episode. This means he could have left after dealing with Incognito, as he was no longer sealed. But he goes back with Integral. I for one like hero's to not be 100% good, because 100% good heroes are boring, we've seen it all before five million times.CaTaClYsM wrote:That is what I would have done had I been one of the people on Alucards "people to kill list" because this is what he does with EVERYONE! And then there is the fact that he has probably killed more inocent people then the enemies of hellsing combined. I like my good guys good and my bad guys bad, because having someone like Alucard be the protagonist of the show is just moronic. Now see, if he were the bad guy of the show and the hellsing people were fighting him, then he would my my all time favorite bad guy easily, because he is seething evil out of every pore. he just isn't cut out for the role of 'hero'.
In conclusion, Alucard kicks ass, and makes a wonderful hero, in my opinion.
