what is the most over rated anime?

I remember the Gummi bears.

I think Pokémon is under-rated. I mean, c'mon!! It's cool! For some reason I just love the songs they wrote for it.

And all the original game music in the background, yeah, it's WAY under-rated.

Ah, that's the source of your problems. You heard the butchered, exaggerated, stereotype English voices. That will permanently ruin your perception of the series. I saw it in Japanese with English subtitles my first time around, and thus Rei didn't sound like a fucking zombie and Asuka didn't sound like the wicked witch of the west with a fucking minnesota accent. There is no saving you, for your perceptions of Eva have been permanently warped by the butchery that is the English dub.

Please stick to the post topic and not argue because someone thinks someones favorite show is overated. I already said the anime I think that is overated and I don't feel a need to be called shallow because I said it.

Princess Monoke was pretty good actully didn't seem very over rated, fist of the north star now taht was over rated. that was the worst shit ever and they even translated it to english...i mean what's the bloody point?

You should delve into the Tenchi OVA sometime. You want deep? Good lord is it ever deep. I've beena big fan of the show for a long time now, and I still haven't dug up all the intricacies of it yet.
