There's pretty much a tie for me for favorite moments.

Video Girl Ai: Tempting to say 'the whole thing', but for me the best/most moving is at the end of the first episode when Yota and Ai are lying on the bed and he's thinking back about what happened and finally accepts that he really did get dumped, and Ai hugs him from behind and says tells him to cheer up. The scene is touching enough even silent- but the music behind it ups the power by several orders of magnitude.

The same thing with the music applies to my other favorite moment- the end of the first Christmas episode in Urusei Yatsura, when instead of letting her fly off back home, Ataru asks Lum to walk with him instead and they walk off holding hands. It's the first sign that Ataru really does care for Lum, and the beautiful instrumental arrangement of Silent Night makes it so much better.

I also agree that the end of Princess Nine was quite good. There were a number of excellent moments in Battle Athletess Daiundokai as well.

LOVE HINA

Post by SkyZeroLabs » Tue Jan 14, 2003 12:36 pm

My favorite scene from Love Hina. Was basically the Christmas Special, that piece was a tear jerker  .... especially when Keitaro finds Naru giving a present with a letter to Seta.. that was sad  ... it reminded me of the AMV that uses "My December" from Linkin Park..

...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
I've seen it happen, man! I've SEEN IT!..

The kind of recap over the world in Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. The part when Heero jumps from his ship to his Gundam. The music rocks at that part.
