uh no, it doesn't.

I don't do that to people. Those are stupid anime fans too.

You see here's a DBZ fan that adores DBZ, it;s his life. Then this person discovers Cowboy Bebop on cartoon network, so now they just think they're anime anime god. And those DBZ vets that are brand spankin new Bebop fans dish that shit out at other DBZ fans, i've seen it happen. Then I go voer there and ask the dike some anime questions he doesn't know what the fuck I'm tlaking about, then I ask the so called "DBZ kiddy anime lover" questions, and they know them. Anime fan #2 is the normal anime fan in this senario, Fan #1 is the dick that knwos nothing (in about 95% of the time) Sure there are exceptions, but us normal Otaku don't do that crap.

The door doesn't swing two ways. EVERY anoying DBZ fan is like that (with exceptions of course) and EVERY Otaku is mature enough not to do that (again exceptions)

That's the diffrence, majority v.s. minority.

On the original subject:

Meh...Never really found DBZ particularly awful...sure the story is dragged out, but as a rule, I know when I'm watching that I'm not watching for some profound life changing anime (if you're looking for that in DBZ I truly pity you)
Hell, supposedly Toriyama did half of DBZ on a whim just to see how long before people would stop following it (if that explains the story any)
Personally, I don't hate it (I've found some of the movies to be enjoyable, in particular 8 & 12) but there's no way on Earth, in Heaven, or in Hell, that it's the greatest anime of all time (for that record I don't think EVA has the right to that claim either, as time is still going and there could be something truly spectacular 10 years from now that blows it out of the water)...anyways, overall
I don't hate it, but it's definitely not on my top 10 either

well maybe since it takes 8 years or so for an anime to get popular over here, the best anime ever is airing right now :|

You guys seem to be rather judgemental of us dbzers. I mean, if someone annoys you, ignore them. It's that simple, especially online. People like what they like, lets just leave it at that. If you see someone who likes dbz and automatically assume they're an idiot or lamer, then YOU are the idiot in the situation. Jace, you need to simmer down and stop being so stubborn, I love dbz, and I'm not gonna hide that, does that make me a dumbass creed fan too? Honestly, I also love other animes, and I have many friends that love BOTH dbz and other animes. Bottem line is, you can't judge a book by its cover. If you think dbz is shit, thats fine, I won't judge you. But that also means that you can't judge other people for liking it.

Here is analogy I think relates to the current situation with DBZ: Do you remember those orbitz sodas, well people really got into those because they had the suspended colored balls. They were great to look at but they were gross as hell. Even though they basically had no flavor people still enjoyed looking at them. The same applies to DBZ, its great eye candy but the story isn't there. Maybe this would work for an analogy but Im not sure. The only thing I dont like about DBZ is its fans. The irratation gets to me, I guess its my pride as an avide anime fan.

by the way this is PDperfection, I kinda stole Gundammrw's computer for awhile.

fogot to add this, its off subject but oh well. I REALLY feel sorry for the voice actors. All that screaming has really got to put them in the hospital.

dude, vegeta I love DBZ too, you'r not a dumb DBZ fan. I think you missed the fact I was labeling DUMB DBZ fans, not DBZ fansd in general. Most DBZ fans are exactly as I described, and it's not the itnernet ones that bother me, it's the ones inr eal life that have taken over all of our arcades! :x

They make it impossible for you to ignore them, and theyt're SO damn stupid it's un believable. I wasn't saying DBZ fans are probably like I explained, I was saying THEY ARE like I explained, this being from eprsonal experience.

I love DBZ dude, but those young stupid fans, that don't know of anyhting else, know any better, or even know if they're wearing the same damn socks, just astound me day to day with their stupidety. I may have even been like that so I can understand until they mature, but the fact is RIGHT NOW they're not mature and I don't want to see them until they are. Fortunetly my older brother never liekd DBZ, and he was into anime a long time before I even knew what it was, so I was introduced to it all well enough not to get all dumc DBZ fanish like.

Anyways cool down dude, i'm judging all DBZ fans, just the dumb ones (which make the majoirty)
