But, if you don't want me to post ridiculous comments in a ridiculous topic, fine.

I meant the musicological thing as joke. I am somewhat afraid of them, but some of them have been great people to talk to and taught me a thing or two.

lol well i did appoligize didn't i? Well as for musicians, they're people just like every one else ... and because of that, most of them tend to be assholes by default, but you do run into the occasional gem after you sort through the shit heap long enough.

I know plenty of musicians that are far from assholes. I know some that are too nice.

Blink-182 is a good example. Great guys, and they blow off everyone that's a waste of their time.

Bands like The ataris need to learn how to blow a fan off every once in a while, they're just too nice to everyone.

well thats the first time i've heard of a band being too nice to their fans ... generaly i hear a lot of how some bands/musicians are just total ass holes to their fans. Like Neil Young, every now and then he'd go sit down in a subway in Toronto and start playing (always with his guitar case closed). If you try to talk to him he gets really pissed off.

oh i know, i've known tht since i was at least 12. I was jsut using him as an example. However he may be an asshole but i like his music.

Although tis is my first post on this site I have posted on many other (ie. www.morethantoast.com) I have learned that most people that start fights on a posts because they are lacking knowlage to the real topic involved in the post. They also show thier ignorance by doing so. I do not mean to offend any one by this I just thought I should say something about that.
