I prefer (although it's not an iron fast rule as you will see) my bishouen non or otherwise superhuman since "I'm not normal" angst is about the only angst I like. Cheerfulness and good wit are also a plus (but again not set in stone *cough* Zel *cough*)

Except for Zel and Kusanagi the rest of the list can be considered in random order

1. Zelgadis - it's all about cute rock boys
2. Kusanagi from Blue Seed - it's all about cute plant boys
3. Tamahome - it's called "I'm cute and my english VA is David Hayter"
4. Kenshin - sweet and lovable yet great with a sword
5. Ryouga - he's just too sweet and not afraid to cry
6. Gawl from Generator Gawl - he's not super smart but he's good with the one liners
7. Chichiri - just cause na no da
8. Vash - three words "Love and Peace!"
9. Inuyasha - not bad but reminds me too much of Ranma occasionally
10. Nightcrawler - yes, I know he's not from an anime but I needed one more bishouen and Kurt is just too cute.
