Uncle Milo--I can not expect a peon like you to understand the meaning of the word "Do" The Ifurita from wanderers is all Do the Ifurita from the oavs is all don't. And the princess is also way hotter in the wanderers. The wanderers is also alot more fun to watch.

Sarah the boring----No one is flaming you!!! has anyone called you stupid or anything? You gave a reason why you hated an anime. But the reason you gave doesen't make any sense. We have already told you that most of the characters are out of school but you keep focusing on only 2 characters. The series I mentioned above I didn't give any reasons for hating because i've posted them a million times. You are certainly entitled to your opinions but if you are going to post them for everyone to read don't get mad if people respond.

Actually yes, being told that I'm out of my mind, blah blah blah, would constitute flaming. Reread the posts; they are extremely hostile.

Understood, not all of the series has that same age frame. However, the content that does fit into that category is enough that I wouldn't want to watch the series.

In other words, I didn't like the rest all that much really, so 10% of the show that I really dislike was enough to make me not want to continue.

And again, my reasons don't have to make sense to you; you can watch the show till your gonads explode for all I care. Most people never even GAVE reasons, I'd consider that an improvement at least. That and I don't jump down people's throats because they don't have the exact same tastes I do. ;P

As for ones me didn't like, I agree with the others about DBZ but i kinda still like it. Hate is such a harsh word, something i reserve for Big Brother and the sorts..

Digimon. Pokemon so came first by like 5 years. I tried watching it too, and it just... sucked... bad. What else. I really didnt like spriggan, and Angel Sanctuary just right out sucked. I also have a 9 episode dvd of Saber Marionette J of which I've watched 5 episodes and dont intend on watching any more. The Maze TV series pales in comparison to the OAV. Tenchi in Tokyo had horrible animation. Nadia is pretty geigh. And thats about it that I can remember right now.

Realistic my ass. You have villains with submachine guns (that don't seem to run out of ammo), who can hardly hit anything. Realistically, they'd reload more often. They also wouldn't just burn off a magazine at a character. There's no blood. NOT REALISTIC! I'm not even talking gallons here, just a small pool would be enough. PEOPLE BLEED WHEN SHOT! The Soldats would be ok if they didn't have bunch of mystic mumbo jumbo bullshit going on.

Noir isn't a bad series, just overly long, dull, and unrealistic. They've could've told the story in 13 episodes, and had some blood.

nobody every reads my posts thoroughly enuff...i said that it was realistic compared to other anime, and that therefore what i meant was feel free to think that its unrealistic, but it shouldn't be held against the series all that much.

IMO, the lack of blood was there to show the sort of "professionalism" surrounding the girls, and the director valued that more than realism.


anyways, just on a side note, somebody corrected a person who said "Sazan Eyes" with "Sanjiyan", which is incorrect, Sazan Eyes is the actual name of the anime, it is translated for us to '3x3'

I have only ever dead given up on three series, of which one is a good contender for worst anime ever produced.

I gave up on Shaman King after one episode, because the character designs were unappealing.

I gave up on RahXephon about 3/4 of the way through the first episode, because the storyline was so derivative that it made my head hurt.

I gave up on I'll Make A Habit Of It (Chou Kusei Ni Narisou) a little less than 11 minutes in, after realizing that there was no redeeming value to this brainless piece of crap AT ALL, and probably would have ended up cutting my throat to get away from it before I got to the closing credits. This vapid, pointless, innovation-free shoujo gets my vote for worst anime ever brought into existence.

Some anime, however, are so stupid that they're actually good. I'm thinking specifically of The Ultimate Teacher here, which was produced under the influence of an immense amount of crack cocaine sometime in the late '80s by an unknown studio. This is the best anime I have ever encountered for watching while drunk.
