What's the best English dubbed anime you've seen?

Also, I really enjoyed the Ah My Goddess, Evangelion, Excel Saga, Bastard, Kenshin, Metropolis, any Miyazaki film I've seen, and surpisingly enough, the Fatal Fury dub is one I like to listen to. 8)

My favorite would have to be Excel Saga and just about anything from The Ocean Group, especially from Brian Drummond, Scott McNeil and Richard Cox.

in my humble opinion, if you are going by sound, if I see it in English first, the voices fit better (Evangelion). But for accuracy, I would say FLCL. I haven't seen Cowboy Bebop in English though...

how can you people like the excel saga dub? I seriously almost killed myself right in front of everyone at AX this past year when i heard it --;

Ocean Group does a fine job. Brian Drummond seems to be near-ubiquitous.

But as for Mr. Oni saying the dub of Slayers beats the original and the chick who dubs Lina is better than Megumi Hayashibara - man you gotta be kidding me. I have a .wav of the English Dragon Slave spell and the woman's voice makes me cringe.

I heard that Neon Genesis Evangelion was dubbed pretty well, i was thinking, how about Love Hina, it seemed dubbed pretty well, what u guys think.

Umm eva was terrible. LH was even worse. Their voices were so bad.

in eva they portrayed the wrong emotions at the wrong times and it ended up taking away from the meaning of the show

IN LH ... i jsut hated their voices. exspecialy Mitsune and Su's ... su sounded like an old indian hag, Mitsune sounded like a drunken, inbred hill billy.

lol i have to agree with u propyro, mitsume did sound like a drunk hill bully, that was soooo true, i prefer the original but it was ok, but i like shinobu's voice, it sounds pretty cute, lol. I havent seen Neon Genesis yet so i dont kno if it sounds ok, i only heard that from my friend.
