but can you really blame Trunks for having lavender hair? but if anything, i'm confused why he had lighter hair than bulma, wouldn't he have a combined hair color of vegeta's BLACK hair and bulma's PURPLE hair, making it a deep dark purple color, and not a lighter shade of
purple... unless vegeta was a super saiyan at the time of... well...

Heh, unfortunately I don't think he'd turned supersaiyan back then - he didn't reach that until nearly a year after Trunks was born. ^_^;;

But if you notice, Bulma's father has lavender hair - I thought it was just the mix of gray with blue, but it could be the natural color. And we don't *really* know what color hair Bulma has - it goes all sorts of shades of blue in the series (nearly green blue a few times). I'd say she dies it - if not, then Trunks gets it from his grandpa on his mother's side.

Well if it counts i think i was thinking about the DBZ movies where Goten acted cool.Specificaly Movie 13 where goten and trunks fused it was a beautiful thing how they just got into that mode(anger/defensive/arrogent).Basically I like goten more than Trunks because he reminds me more of goku as a child.he enjoys the simple things in life Fighting,eating,and toys.

ah yes, so it IS hereditary, but we already knew that, so we still can't blame him for having that color hair, i don't see why people hold it against him so much, people just don't wanna try to embrace the series i guess.. it's sad really, i wonder what percent of people that flame dbz have watched it, probably a low-percentage (i hope) but it's still there.. the percentage.. of people.. that- i'm gonna stop now...

That explains it. ^_^; I don't like Goku because a lot of the time he acts like a big child, and I didn't like him when he *was* a child (or when he's turned back into a child in GT). It's the childish Goku that I dislike most about dbz, so it makes sense that I'd dislike Goten. I actually have always considered him a replica of the dragonball Goku (and my theory about GT having turned Goku back into a child because they wanted to reproduce the original Dragonball feel of the series).

Yeah, I think I'm predisposed to disliking Goten - but I'm glad even a fan of him agrees that he's a replica of young DB Goku (as if the identical features weren't enough clues). ^_^;

The only real difference is the fact Goten is stronger than Goku was as a child.Imagine if King Piccolo had to fight a super saiyan,there would be nothing left of him.

Maybe there may bits of pieces of Piccolo Daiamo littered around.

looking back on those episodes a lot of the fighting really does look sh*t.
except for the dragonball tournament ,saga which i think was one of the best but it had a kinda lousy ending!
